Manufactured and erected for the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge Glos in October 2008
Unusual 9.0m x 9.0m rectangular hide with central open quadrangle supported on tree trunks and with circular
entrance in one wall,which was built of breeze blocks and then plastered and painted
This was done in such a way as to resemble an earth bank and together with the grass on that facet of the roof,to look like a Kingfisher nesting hole in the earth bank.
